Reports to: General Manager of Healthcare Practice
Hours: Days / Mon – Fri.
Location: Work from Home (…must live near major airport)
Travel: Must have ability to travel domestically 70% of time
Job Summary: Reporting to the General Manager of the Healthcare Practice, the AVP of Business Development will play an integral role in the achievement of company’s objective of developing its market position in the US by maximizing revenue/profit growth through the acquisition of Health Care provider clients.
• As an executive focusing on business development (coding services) and early stage client management, this individual must be able to efficiently operate independently. • Function effectively in a collaborative environment where success is contingent upon cooperation and teamwork. • Ability to generate and follow through new sales leads. • Ability to create key account relationships and excitement within the company • Must be comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously, and be able to perform each element of the business development process.
Job Requirements: • A Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field is required. • An advanced degree such as a MBA or Masters is preferred although not required. • Five (5) years of relevant Healthcare Provider consulting and/or outsourcing experience, minimum 3 years of individual level business development or selling experience. • Proven track record developing long-standing relationships and expanding existing accounts • Extensive experience in at least one of the following hospital areas: o Finance and accounting o Revenue Cycle o Supply Chain o Clinical service delivery • Familiarity with ups and downs of building a smaller business. • Past experience and ability to deal with ambiguity and someone who has the patience to work through obstacles, lack of structure and definition. • Work effectively in virtual and geographically and culturally diverse teams. • Ability to lead RFI and RFP efforts. • High levels of influencing and consensus building. • Understanding of sales and deal cycles -- from start to finish, commercials (Cost Structures, Deal Structures, Models) and relationships. • Ability to interface at all levels of an organization (including senior leaders in a variety of functions). • Outstanding result orientation, communication, coaching and mentoring skills (specifically for individual sales performers)

• Proven track record in consistently meeting/exceeding performance goals (revenues, quotas, etc.) • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills with senior level decision makers. • Willingness and self-motivation to work from your home. • Someone who is accountable for their pipeline, independent and requires moderate direction.
